Chrissy McLaughlin is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in adolescents, young adults and mid-adult individuals. She earned her nursing degrees from Scottsdale Community College, Grand Canyon University, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with honors at Walden University in 2022.
With a background as a charge nurse at a level one trauma center, Chrissy brings a comprehensive medical perspective to psychiatry, emphasizing whole-person care. She is known for her compassionate, empathetic approach and her ability to build strong, therapeutic relationships quickly.
Chrissy utilizes evidence-based psychiatric treatment, including medication management, therapy collaboration, and functional lab-based diagnostics, evaluating for underlying medical contributors, such as hormonal or nutritional imbalances. Chrissy partners closely with therapists, hormone optimization centers, and other specialists to provide well-rounded, personalized care. She is committed to improving the quality of life for each patient—mind, body, and spirit.
Born in California and raised in Arizona since 1997, Chrissy is happily married and proud of her blended family including six children, one grandson, and another grandson on the way. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, fitness, and spending time with her family.
